My Story

in Lewes I provide clinical massage, sports massage and a deeply relaxing massage to help people move more easily and efficiently and feel deeply relaxed.  For all my adult life I have been interested in using massage to reduce muscular pain and curious about the factors influencing pain, going on to learn how to help people who live with pain. I keep up to date with best practice and subscribe to the Better Clinician Project and and Le Pub Scientific, and am a member of The Sports Therapy Association and Institute of Sports Remedial Massage.

My Approach

In the first treatment I take a detailed case history, listen to what sort of massage you prefer and what you want to achieve. Together we will agree your treatment for that day and as well as a wonderful massage, I will probably give you some simple exercises to do at home.

For people who experience persistent pain I will offer deeply relaxing massage, and listen to your experience and what you want to achieve. I will introduce you to  the science of pain, what is going on when we hurt for a long time, which will start some discussions to find some options that work for you, to create change.  It isn't a quick fix but change is possible.
